Lula in Rio De Janeiro: I Want to Give Equal Opportunities

The caravan "Lula por Brasil", led by former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, arrived on Tuesday at Campos dos Goytacazes municipality, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Hundreds of Brazilians gathered in the Plaza Camara to await the speech of the leader, who has traveled throughout the country to discuss the different realities of the population. This phase will be from December 4 to 8.

"I want a serious conversation with the people of Rio de Janeiro, you all know that I know how to fix this country, because you saw how this country was in 2003," the leader said.

In addition, he recalled that during his tenure, 20 million jobs were created and inflation was controlled, as well as maintaining "a cordial relationship with Latin America and Africa."

"If I return to the Presidency of the Republic, as long as I live, education will not be treated as an expense, but as an investment," said the representative of the Workers’ Party (PT).
