Four anti-government protesters were killed and an additional 108 were wounded in Baghdad Saturday, the Associated Press reports.

Iraqi officials told the AP that three of the protestors were shot to death and the fourth protestor was killed by a tear gas canister that struck him in the head.

The casualties were a result of day-long protesting, in which protestors blocked three main bridges that span the Tigris River.

Saturday’s anti-government protests are the latest in the ongoing unrest in Iraq that has led to the death of over 250 people.
