A nonprofit group called Pizza to the Polls is delivering hundreds of pizzas to voters stuck in long lines waiting to vote.

The donation-based website accepts pizza requests from anywhere in the U.S.

Voters simply need to take a picture or video of themselves standing in line at a polling location and upload it to the nonprofit’s website.

From there, Pizza to the Polls will order pizzas from the nearest pizza place and have them delivered to anyone in line.

“Americans are hungry for democracy and are turning out in record numbers to vote,” reads the group’s website. “But that means long lines and sometimes empty stomachs, which might discourage these brave patriots from performing their civic duty.”

As of Tuesday morning, the organization has sent 1,344 pizzas to 99 polling places around the country, according to its website. It’s raised about $65,000 this year to pay for the pies.

For early risers headed to the polls, the organization was sending dozens of donuts to voting locations instead.

Pizza to the Polls is nonpartisan and makes clear that it is not compensating a voter for picking a certain candidate. Anyone can use the free, donation-based service.
