There will be heavy and thundery showers at the start of Saturday, most frequently in the southwest at first but then spreading northeastwards.
Sunny spells will be enjoyed by many with the driest and sunniest weather across Northern Ireland and western Scotland.
It will be cloudier for southern and eastern Scotland with outbreaks of rain.
There will be further outbreaks of showery rain heading into Sunday.
However, towards the southwest it should turn mostly dry while clear spells will mean it will turn a touch fresher.
