This afternoon much of England and Wales will remain warm and largely dry with plenty of sunny spells. In Scotland and Northern Ireland cloud and rain will continue to push southwards bringing much cooler conditions.
Tonight the rain band in the north will come as far south as northern parts of Wales. Across the southern half of Britain it’ll remain largely dry and close as nighttime temperatures hold up at 19C in some built up areas.
During tomorrow the rain in the north will break up into showers as it spreads into the rest of England, joining up with a number of showers that are set to spread in from the west. There’ll also be another batch of showers moving up from the English Channel into the Southeast of England and East Anglia which could turn heavy and thundery.
