After a chilly start on Sunday with the odd fog patch, many areas will have a dry day with some warm sunshine, especially across England and Wales.

In many parts, unbroken sunshine is likely to develop across the afternoon.

However, a few showers are likely to affect northwest England and eastern parts of Scotland, while Northern Ireland and western Scotland will turn windy with patchy rain.

Top temperatures will be 20 or 21C.
